Summary:
The transportation concept described here emloys 20 passenger cars that can change lanes on an elevated track at 80 miles per hour. This permits an extraordinary improvement in public transportation, up to 70,000 passengers per hour per line. The book details the construction of the cars and the commuter system as it might be installed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This type of system has never been proposed before. This is not just a book for academics or engineers, although I would certainly encourage them to read it. This is written with the intent of instructing the general public in the futility of pursuing light rail as a solution of their transportation problems and to encourage them to demand something better. In addition there is a description of personal auto transport, also a cargo carrying system that can replace the trucking industry within the next half century. The primary goal of my life has been to discover the challenges and rewards of successfully designing increasingly difficult mechanical projects in the employment of manufacturing and engineering firms. I am an industrial designer with approximately 40 years, (80,000 hours), of work experience in mechanical and structural design. This experience has been predominately in material handling, that is: conveyors and processing equipment in the aggregate and forest products industries. It has also included several projects for the navy such as elevators, watertight doors and some miscellaneous material handling equipment. I have several patents related to this work. It must be obvious to you that I'm well qualified to propose this concept.

Spirit Wind, a collaborative investigation into the works and person of the Holy Spirit, clearly and richly demonstrates diversity in theological perspectives but unity in the Christian faith. All theological discussions should aim at humbly respecting theological distinctiveness while sincerely encouraging theological conversations. Spirit Wind offers itself to achieve just that. It may serve as a good introduction to the nature and appeal of the shamanic revival in modern Western cultures." —Theological Book Review "... a case study in experiential anthropology that offers a unique mix of autobiography, mythology, experiential research, and archaeological data to support a challenging thesis—that certain body postures may help induce specific trance states." —Shaman’s Drum "This is a spellbinding
